Milton Gil Photographers has over 20 years of experience and is proudly recommended at many of the top venues in New Jersey, with an exceptional reputation in the wedding industry. Our team is made up of talented, friendly photographers with an innovative yet timeless style, and we go beyond just showing up with cameras. We help create a detailed timeline, offer a one-on-one timeline review with your photographer, and provide up to 10 hours of coverage to make sure your day is fully documented. All of your images are edited in-house in our signature style with a quick turnaround time, delivered through stunning online galleries with easy guest sharing, unlimited photos, unlimited high-resolution downloads, and no watermarks.
We also offer a full-service studio experience with a beautiful studio space, full-time studio staff, and in-house product and album designers who create luxurious Italian wedding albums. Our customer service is prompt and hands-on from start to finish, and for couples adding video, we have an in-house video department with both short highlight edits (3–5 minutes) and extended films (60–90 minutes), plus unlimited video downloads. Behind the scenes, we come fully prepared with top-of-the-line camera gear, backup gear at every wedding, on-and off-site backups for both photo and video, and a professional, polished team that’s there to take care of you and capture everything beautifully.

Our photography style is a blend of Documentary & Editorial. We capture your day with a photojournalistic approach, focusing on real moments, candid reactions, and the story as it naturally unfolds, while also creating timeless, elegant portraits that feel polished and magazine-worthy. We also incorporate traditional photos when needed (like family formals), so you get the best of everything: candids, structure, and beautiful portraiture.
Our style is all about capturing your personalities and the connection between you. We’ll guide you into relaxed, comfortable poses and easy movement so you can focus on each other, not the camera. Expect real laughter, natural emotion, and moments that truly feel like you! We’re unobtrusive when it matters most, but we step in with direction when it’s helpful, so the day stays organized and the photos look effortless!
Your wedding photos will be professionally edited in our Signature Style, which we’ve carefully crafted over many years! It’s a timeless, natural look that’s not overly bright (light and airy) or overly dark (moody). We aim for a clean, neutral finish that feels true-to-life and elegant for years to come.
Our editing also reflects the natural lighting of the day, so outdoor images may feel a bit lighter while indoor photos tend to be more neutral. We don’t customize the editing style per client, as staying consistent helps us maintain the integrity and artistic vision of our brand. Our portfolio is a mix of work from our team, and you’ll see that consistent style across all of it!
Full coverage length depends on your specific timeline. We build coverage around your ceremony time and the flow of your day, and you have coverage for as long as needed to fully document everything that’s planned, up to a maximum of 10 hours.
Most weddings begin photography about 2.5 hours before the ceremony start time. If you’re doing a First Look, we typically start about 4.5 hours before the ceremony to allow time for portraits and family/bridal party photos. If the photographers feel that the day is sufficiently covered, they may leave after consulting with the couple after all formalities are completed. If you’d like coverage beyond 10 hours, additional time can be added.
You’ll have two photographers on your wedding day! Typically, we start with each of you separately while you’re getting ready, then both photographers stay with you throughout the day to capture everything from multiple angles and make sure nothing is missed.
You’ll receive a minimum of 1000 beautifully edited photos in our timeless Signature Style! Our goal is to tell the full story of your wedding, not cap you at a specific number. You’ll get everything you need to relive the full day, with a mix of color and black-and-white edits for added variety and artistry!
Your photos will be uploaded to a BEAUTIFUL Online Gallery Site, where they’ll stay available with unlimited access and are easy to share with family and friends. Your gallery includes a private link with password protection. You’ll also be able to download all of your High-Resolution images directly to your computer. No watermarks are applied, and you’ll receive a copyright release for personal use!
Your full wedding gallery is typically ready in 3–4 weeks after your wedding! Most photographers deliver in 6–12 weeks, so our turnaround is much faster because all editing is done in-house by our amazing editing team! Due to our quick turnaround and volume, we don’t guarantee sneak peeks, but if you’d love a small preview, feel free to ask and we’ll do our best!
Definitely not! Your downloaded photos will never have a watermark. They’re yours to enjoy, print, and share freely.
About 2 months before your wedding, we’ll ask you to fill out our Photographer’s Information Sheet on our website. It collects all the important “need to know” details like timing, locations, and formalities. Your main photographer will then review everything with you during the week leading up to the wedding to finalize the plan. If you ever want to talk through timing sooner, you’re always welcome to reach out anytime.
There are HUGE advantages to doing a First Look! Especially if time between your ceremony and cocktail hour is limited. Here are a few benefits to maximize your wedding day!
A First Look has been proven to calm any nerves before the very anticipated “walk down the aisle”. It’s the perfect icebreaker and allows you to enjoy your ceremony even more. It's a beautiful, intimate moment between you two!
You can enjoy private moments together when you first see each other. Hugs, kisses and compliments!
You save time by taking the majority of your photos before the wedding ceremony. This includes family, bridal party and your soon-to-be other half! All done before you say “I Do”!
All those delicious appetizers you picked out... guess what? You’ll get to enjoy your entire cocktail hour!
You’ll be grateful to get off your feet for a bit. During cocktail hour, not only can you indulge, but you can relax before the dancing frenzy begins!
A First Look is never required, but couples who choose one are usually grateful for the extra time, reduced stress, and more relaxed flow to the day.
Gratuity is not included in our packages. While never required, it’s always appreciated by your hardworking photographers for going above and beyond on your wedding day. If you do choose to tip, most couples budget about $100-$200 per team member.
Yes, please. Our photographers are working hard all day long and will eat dinner when you and your guests are eating.
Our packages are divided into four payments: First payment (deposit): $500–$1,500 (depending on your package), due when you sign the contract. Second payment: Due 6 months before your wedding date. Third payment: Due 3 months before your wedding date. Final payment: Due 1 month before your wedding date. This way, your investment is spread out and easy to manage as your big day approaches! If you'd like your payment spread out more, just ask!
Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding, and you’ll have beautiful photos for save-the-dates, your wedding website, and personal use! Engagement sessions are scheduled Monday–Thursday and last about 1 hour. Within 2 weeks, your photos will be posted to our Online Viewing Site. You’ll also receive a digital download of your high-resolution, unwatermarked images—at least 100 from your session!
If the forecast calls for rain, we’ll simply reschedule your session for another date. We don’t have an indoor studio space set up, but we’re happy to help you reschedule for another time.
The album design process begins when you choose your favorites for your album. Once they are submitted, the design process takes approximately 6-8 weeks. Once designed and approved, your album will take 3-6 months for the printing and binding process. All albums are handmade in Italy with the finest craftsmanship. They take some time, but they’re worth it!
Absolutely! Once your album design is ready, we’ll email it to you for review. You’ll have up to 2 rounds of revisions, if needed, at no additional charge.
Our video editing process is probably the most extensive part of our production so it takes some time to produce. We give you a Full Length Video Edit AND a Short Film which are edited together. You will receive your video within 3-4 months from your wedding day. All videos are edited in wedding date order.
